Key Takeaways
Our sequencing campaign is offered every even-numbered month in Feb./Apr./Jun./Aug./Oct./Dec. Sample arrival cutoff date is the last Friday of the month.
No minimum sample size is required, and the lowest sequencing costs are guaranteed.
Service quality remains uncompromised, with delivery guaranteed within 25 business days after DNA QC pass.
How Pooling Works
Our sequencing pooling service combines samples from different customers into shared high-throughput sequencing runs. Each sample is processed with its own barcode or index, allowing data to be separated accurately after sequencing while still taking advantage of the full capacity of platforms such as Illumina NovaSeq 6000, PacBio, or other appropriate sequencing systems. By filling available sequencing capacity with multiple projects in one coordinated run, we reduce idle instrument space and distribute fixed sequencing costs across many samples.
Pooling is offered every even-numbered month, with the sample-arrival cutoff set for the last Friday of the pool month. There is no minimum sample size, so both small and large projects can join the same campaign and benefit from flat discounted pricing. After samples pass DNA QC, we proceed with library preparation, sequencing, demultiplexing, and standard data delivery, with service quality maintained and results delivered within the guaranteed campaign timeline.

Pool Schedule 2026
Our sequencing pools are organized every even-numbered month. To join a pool, samples must arrive at our Copenhagen laboratory no later than the sample-arrival cutoff date listed below.
| Pool | Sample-arrival cutoff |
|---|---|
| February pool | 27 February 2026, Friday |
| April pool | 24 April 2026, Friday |
| June pool | 26 June 2026, Friday |
| August pool | 28 August 2026, Friday |
| October pool | 30 October 2026, Friday |
| December pool | 25 December 2026, Friday* |
*The December cutoff falls during the Christmas holiday period. We recommend shipping December-pool samples one week earlier to avoid courier delays.
Large Sequencing Projects
For large projects, our campaign pricing can be applied outside the regular bi-monthly pool schedule. If the total order size exceeds EUR 5,000, or if the total sequencing output exceeds 500 Gb, the same discounted campaign rates will apply regardless of when the samples are submitted.
Large projects receive the same service quality and turnaround time as regular pooling projects. This option is intended for customers with larger sequencing needs who may not be able to align sample preparation with a scheduled pool cutoff date. Such projects also qualify for free shipping within the EU and the UK. Once the project details are confirmed, we will arrange sequencing under the campaign pricing framework and provide a formal quotation with the expected timeline, data output, and delivery plan.
Procedure
Submit a project query through the form below, including your sample type, sample number, expected sequencing depth, required platform, and whether you need bioinformatics analysis.
We review your project details and confirm whether the samples are suitable for the selected sequencing pool. If needed, we will suggest the most appropriate service option and prepare a formal quotation.
Prepare your samples according to our sample preparation and shipping instructions. DNA samples, microbial pure cultures, and selected environmental samples may be accepted depending on the project type.
Ship your samples to our Copenhagen laboratory by express courier so that they arrive no later than the sample-arrival cutoff date, which is the last Friday of each pool month.
After receiving the samples, we perform sample check-in and DNA quality control. Samples that pass QC will be included in the upcoming sequencing pool.
We complete library preparation, sequencing, demultiplexing, and standard data processing according to the selected service.
Results are delivered through a secure Dropbox shared folder or another agreed delivery method within the guaranteed campaign timeline after DNA QC pass.
